Icelandair is reintroducing flights between Glasgow and Reykjavik.
Two flights a week will run on Thursdays and Sundays from August 27, with the frequency then rising to four flights a week from September 25.
The four flights a week will operate on a a route that takes them from Reykjavik to Manchester, then Glasgow before returning to Reykjavik.
The schedule will allow passengers to connect onwards to US destinations such as New York, Boston and Seattle
Icelandair is offering an Iceland City Break package starting at £249 including return flight from Glasgow, three nights’ 4-star accommodation, plus tour. Travel is valid from September 15 to 15 December 15 but must be booked online at www.icelandair.co.uk by July 31.
